If you are prone to boils, reduce your intake of eggs, dark meats, chicken
and peanuts as these tend to contribute to boil formation.
Try alternating Warm/cold
applications. The easiest way is to take a very hot bath. Bring a bowl
of ice cubes, a washcloth and an egg timer into the tub area with you.
Set the timer for 3 minutes and relax, making sure that the area with
the boil is underwater. Then set the timer for 30

seconds, put 1 or 2 ice-cubes (depending on the size of the boil) into
the washcloth and apply to the boil area. Continue doing this for at least
3 cycles - 5 would be better.
Apply a clay poultice
to the boil.
Apply an Echinacea/Goldenseal
poultice with or without clay.
